University Lecture Hall AV Integration

We recently completed a comprehensive AV system integration project for a university lecture hall. Clear audio and sharp visuals enhance student engagement and comprehension, while simplified system management saves faculty time and avoids technical interruptions. The lecture hall is also equipped with future‑ready infrastructure to support hybrid teaching, seamlessly connecting in‑person and remote participation.

Project Overview

The goal was to create a complete, reliable, and easy‑to‑operate AV environment for the university lecture hall to meet modern academic needs. Our scope included full system design, equipment selection and procurement, on‑site cabling and installation, and system integration and commissioning. The solution features:

  • Audio System – Wireless microphones for clear sound across the hall
  • Projection System – Ceiling projectors + large screens for sharp visuals
  • Camera Integration – Supports lecture recording & live streaming
  • Centralized Control – Touchscreen tablet for one‑touch management

The lecture hall is equipped with matrix switchers, professional projectors, cameras, and a centralized control system. All devices are managed through a touchscreen tablet, allowing faculty to switch sources, adjust volume, and start recording or streaming without complex setups. The system also supports live streaming and remote connections for hybrid courses.

Core Equipment and Features

  • Kramer VS-88H2A AV Matrix Switcher
Supports 8 inputs and 8 outputs, handling both HDMI and analog audio. Ideal for routing multiple sources (PCs, cameras, media players) to various displays (projectors, screens, recording systems) in a lecture hall.

  • Lumens PS753 Visual Presenter
Features a high‑quality lens and smooth zoom to clearly display books, exam papers, or physical objects. Its flexible arm design is perfect for instructors to present teaching materials in real time, enhancing classroom interactivity.

  • Kramer VS-1616DN‑EM 16×16 Modular Video Matrix (with IN/OUT Cards)
Modular design allows flexible expansion of input/output channels as needed. Equipped with UHDA‑IN2‑F16x8 input card and UHDA‑OUT2‑F16x6 output card, supporting 4K signal distribution. Suitable for complex lecture hall environments requiring multi‑channel high‑definition signal management.

Smart Design with ESG in Mind

This project reflects our commitment to ESG values. The matrix switcher and centralized control system enable precise power management, reducing energy waste during non‑class hours. Modular equipment allows future upgrades rather than full replacement, minimizing electronic waste. High‑quality camera and recording systems support remote participation, lowering commuting‑related carbon emissions. We are dedicated to creating sustainable, smart teaching environments for universities.
