The Crestron\u00a0HD\u2011RX\u20114K-210-C-E\u00a0is a multiformat AV switch and receiver that provides HDMI\u00ae video switching and audio presentation capabilities in areas such as conference rooms and classrooms. Compatible with all DM\u00a0Lite\u00ae transmitters, the\u00a0HD\u2011RX\u20114K-210-C-E\u00a0provides one DM\u00a0Lite input for connection to one transmitter.<\/p>\n

NOTE: A firmware update (coming soon) will be required to support the newly released DM Lite\u00ae\u00a04K60 4:4:4\u00a0(4KZ) transmitters. Pairing the 4K60 4:4:4 transmitters with HD-RX-4K-210-C-E firmware version 1.0.5005.18300 or earlier may result in an unstable DM Lite connection and loss of the audio\/video signal.<\/em><\/p>\n

A CATx (CAT5e or higher) twisted pair cable connects a transmitter to the\u00a0HD\u2011RX\u20114K-210-C-E\u00a0for the transmission of HDMI signals. For\u00a0resolutions up to 2K, the maximum transmission distance is 230 ft (70 m). For\u00a0higher resolutions up to 4K, the maximum transmission distance is 130\u00a0ft (40\u00a0m).1<\/sup><\/p>\n

NOTE: Power is transmitted over the CATx cable that connects the\u00a0HD\u2011RX\u20114K-210-C-E\u00a0to a DM Lite transmitter.<\/em><\/p>\n

In addition to one DM Lite input, the\u00a0HD\u2011RX\u20114K-210-C-E\u00a0provides one HDMI input that can be connected to a local AV\u00a0source or to an optional Crestron\u00ae media presentation wall plate (MP-WP152<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0MPI-WP150<\/a>\u00a0Series, sold separately).<\/p>\n

Automatic Switching of Inputs<\/strong>
\nAutomatic switching between the DM Lite input and HDMI input can occur based on the last connected input or on the routing priority assigned to each input. Switching behavior is configurable using the web interface or programmable using a Crestron control system. In addition, input selection push buttons on the front panel of the\u00a0HD\u2011RX\u20114K-210-C-E\u00a0enable the desired input to be selected manually.<\/p>\n

HDMI Output with 4K Scaler<\/strong>
\nA single HDMI output with a built-in scaler connects to a display\u00a0or other device with an HDMI input. Input resolutions are automatically scaled to match the native resolution of\u00a0the\u00a0display device, resulting in optimal image quality. For\u00a0applications requiring comprehensive EDID management, the web interface can be used to ensure that every input is displayed at its optimal resolution and format. Input resolutions up to 4K60 4:2:0 are supported.<\/p>\n

Device Control<\/strong>
\nEquipped with onboard control ports, the\u00a0HD\u2011RX\u20114K-210-C-E\u00a0can control various devices in a room. The COM (RS-232) port and CEC over the HDMI output can enable the display device to be turned on or off automatically without the use of a control system. With the use of a control system, the IR port can also control the display device. Two relay ports are provided for controlling a projection screen and other low-voltage contact-closure activated equipment. Two Versiport I\/O ports enable the integration of devices such as power sensors and motion detectors. An Ethernet port connection to a LAN also provides control by enabling use of the built-in web interface as well as connection to a control system.<\/p>\n

NOTE: The IR, COM, and Ethernet ports cannot be used to extend signals over a DM Lite connection.<\/em><\/p>\n

.AV Framework\u2122 Technology Support<\/strong>
\nIn addition to a built-in web interface and control system programming, the built-in .AV Framework technology of the\u00a0MPC3-201<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0MPC3-302<\/a>\u00a0Series control systems can be used to control the\u00a0HD\u2011RX\u20114K-210-C-E\u00a0as a switcher. XiO Cloud<\/strong>\u00ae\u00a0Service Support<\/strong>
\nThe HD-RX-4K-210-C-E is compatible with the XiO Cloud\u00a0service, which is an IoT (Internet of Things) platform for\u00a0remotely provisioning, monitoring, and managing Crestron\u00a0devices across an enterprise or an entire client base. Built on\u00a0the Microsoft\u00ae Azure\u00ae software platform and using industry-leading\u00a0Azure IoT Hub technology, the XiO Cloud service\u00a0enables installers and IT managers to deploy and manage\u00a0thousands of devices in the amount of time it previously took to\u00a0manage a single device. Unlike other virtual machine-based\u00a0cloud solutions, Azure services provide unlimited scalability to\u00a0suit the ever-growing needs of an enterprise. Native Integration with Cisco Webex<\/strong>\u00ae\u00a0and Touch 10 Devices<\/strong>
\nNative integration of the Cisco API enables source inputs of the HD-RX-4K-210-C-E to be added to a compatible Cisco Webex video conference system that is controlled by a Cisco Touch 10 control unit. Eliminating the need for control system programming, integration with Cisco\u00ae devices is accomplished by using the Crestron Configuration tool, which is hosted on the Crestron website at\u00a0configuration.crestron.com<\/a>. Configuration includes the selection of the desired Crestron and Cisco hardware models and the assignment of HD-RX-4K-210-C-E input names and icons for use on the Cisco Touch 10 screen. The resulting configuration file is then downloaded from the website and loaded to the HD-RX-4K-210-C-E using the HD-RX-4K-210-C-E web interface. Communication is established between the HD-RX-4K-210-C-E and Cisco devices, enabling the Cisco Touch 10 to display and control the additional HD-RX-4K-210-C-E inputs.<\/p>\n

Compact Design<\/strong>
\nCompact in design, the\u00a0HD\u2011RX\u20114K-210-C-E\u00a0can be mounted onto a flat surface such as a wall or attached to the underside of a table. The device can also be mounted to a rack rail.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
